The design of The Refectory Bar reflects the production, process and history of Plymouth Gin. The brand champions its heritage and home in the Southwest. This scheme helps to celebrate the salty sea air of Plymouth, the green landscape of Dartmoor, the seven botanics that are to thank for the flavour and features free-flowing furniture with brass and copper accessories, reflective of the centuries-old stills that still produce the gin today. Small details within the design are key to ensuring the customers’ experience is meaningful and educational, such as facts printed on napkins and engraved in the bespoke copper still seating pods.
